Girl Meets Glass Private Tours to Champagne

Did you know that Champagne is only 1h30 from Paris by car? Why not take a day trip out of the city to see some vineyards and taste the Wine of Kings, Champagne

Here’s a snapshot of a sample itinerary of an amazing day in Champagne with Girl Meets Glass:

We start early because we have to seize the day! Starting at your hotel (or apartment) our host and chauffeur meet you and ride off. During the ride, you’ll get a crash course in Champagne to get you started on your bubbly adventure properly!

The first stop is a small town called Chouilly, where we’ll have our first tour and tasting at the brand new state-of-the-art facility of Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte. This facility really shows you how you make Champagne in the 21st century.

Back in the car, we’ll drive down the most expensive street in the world, the Avenue de Champagne. You can enjoy free time for lunch on your own in Epernay, or take in another tasting at a smaller champagne house.

Next is a tasting at a smaller champagne house. You know how the major brands do it, now see how the growers, farmers and vignerons make champagne. These really express the soils and the climate of the region, you’re in for a treat. Lucky for you, the driver has a big trunk to keep all your champagne bottles safe and sound.

Whew, what a day! But if you aren’t tired yet, we may have a special surprise. With memories of an amazing day of wine tasting and quite possibly with stars still dancing on your palate, our chauffeur will return us back to Paris and ordinary life, happy in the knowledge that you have experienced in this corner of paradise.

This trip includes:

  • Luxury transportation for the tour
